We are pleased to announce the creation of our new Breast Cancer Care Fund whose purpose is to assist women who are unable to afford prostheses or lymphedema treatment supplies. A generous donation from the Central Coast Women’s League has provided the seed money and applications will be available in April of 2008. Our next CREATIVE HEALING RETREAT FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS will be from Friday evening, October 17 through noon on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the elegant Inn at Morro Bay in Morro Bay State Park. Springing from the experiences of an artist who found healing in her art during treatment, this retreat provides guided access to a variety of art forms, from music to journaling and yoga. Our 7th ANNUAL SPRING DINNER was held Saturday evening, April 26, 2008 at Edna Valley Vineyard in San Luis Obispo, CA. Enhancement sponsors LYMPHEDEMA SEMINARS and CONFERENCES for the Medical Community. Our pilot conference was held November 4-6, 2005 and was a terrific success. Attendees said it was "fantastic..the speakers were outstanding... absolutely brilliant" and the entire conference was audio-taped by a nonprofit company that will make these tapes available to its subscriber base of MDs all over the world.
