About Enhancement Inc.
Enhancement, Inc. was formed in May of 1998 as a public benefit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Shoosh Crotzer is the Founder and Executive Director, along with five other Board members.
Our main purpose is to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors. We produced the video "Focus on Healing through Movement & Dance for the Breast Cancer Survivor" and distribute both the video and an accompanying book, "Thriving After Breast Cancer," written by the author of the video.
Our organization sponsors much-needed Lymphedema Education Seminars for both the medical community and patients. These seminars provide the latest information on lymphedema diagnosis and treatment from the country’s top specialists. We are also working to create a Breast Cancer Resource Center for the Central Coast of California, where Enhancement is based. Additional projects include new video titles and collaboration with university research teams to learn more about the relationship between exercise and breast cancer. Also, beginning in 2006, we will be hosting Creative Healing Retreats for Breast Cancer Survivors.
